Organoleptic properties

- Appearance:  oily liquid or unctuous solid (depends on the temperature). This oil tends to solidify at temperatures below 15 ° C. Depending on the batch, this oil can solidify more or less easily.
- Color:  light yellow to orange-yellow (especially when the oil is liquid). It takes on a whiter / light yellow appearance when solidified.
- Smell:  sweet and fine bitter almond, with certain notes a pleasant note of toasted hazelnut quite marked
- Touch:  fat. If you want to improve its penetration into the skin, mix it with more penetrating oil (Kukui, Macadamia, Hazelnut, ...).

Focus on oleic acid: Oleic acid comes from the Latin oleum and means oil. This lipid is part of the omega-9 family. It is the most abundant of the long-chain monounsaturated fatty acids in our body. Very nourishing for the skin, it makes it more supple and softer but also more radiant.
